CustomerCentral Enterprise Server
The CustomerCentral Enterprise server is at the core of all CustomerCentral eFinance Suite application modules. The Enterprise server is a J2EE-compliant Java application allowing all CustomerCentral modules to leverage the following common infrastructure and functionality:

Links: Every CustomerCentral application page (JSP) is an entry point. This allows applications to easily embed CustomerCentral function within their existing applications at minimal cost.

XML server: All CustomerCentral APIs use a common XML API provided by the Enterprise server.

Hardware security module (HSM): All data encryption in the CustomerCentral eFinance Suite is done using a FIPS 140-level 3 HSM, the same technology used to secure ATM PINs.

Data exchange: All CustomerCentral application modules share a common messaging layer and data structure, allowing for back office integration to be done once and shared across all CustomerCentral eFinance Suite application modules. Therefore, if your Financial Service Provider (FSP) deploys CustomerCentral Account View initially, you may also deploy CustomerCentral ACH Transfers at a later time using the same back office data connection.

Internationalized, multi-lingual: All CustomerCentral modules are double byte/Unicode-enabled for the Asian languages (Japan has a large CustomerCentral installation base) and are multi-lingual (NLS) enabled to support multiple languages for a single implementation.

Application server functionality: Scalability, redundancy, database connection pooling, and session management are provided by the application server.

Service bureau-enabled: All CustomerCentral applications are service bureau-enabled, allowing one installation to service multiple FSPs in an efficient, low-cost and reliable fashion.

Administration: All CustomerCentral modules use a common administration module allowing for:
An existing CSR or administration module to link to discrete CustomerCentral administration pages, functions, or menus using CustomerCentral Links.
Tiered CSR support allowing grouping of functions in CSR roles.
Extensive logging and reporting that's 100% service bureau-enabled to allow discrete reports for individual FSPs sharing a system.
